Lucaa Band Bear Totem
Linocut artwork was inspired by the Cherokee clan A-ni-sa-ho-ni (Blue), of which we are descendants. It is the oldest clan within the Cherokee matrilineal society and is represented for us by a Bear. I drew the shapes, made a digital trace, a trace on the lino, carved the lino, made prints, and then composited those digitally for merchandise.
